As part of International Savings Week, 15 ambassadors of MFI MBC visited 10 schools in Georgia, meeting up to 400 children and conducting engaging classes to increase awareness about the need of saving money.
The activity was held for fourth-ninth grade children from Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Samtredia, Gori, and Rustavi schools. During the lessons, students were given information about money saving methods, saving safety, spending rules, and other key financial topics.
The National Bank of Georgia and the educational website FinEdu have been celebrating International Savings Week since 2012.
The goal of the week is to educate young people and children about the importance of saving money.
